Abiotrophia Media Recipe

    1. Combine the following
      • 37g brain heart infusion
      • 200ml horse serum
      • 200ml Maltose 10% solution
      • 111ml Cysteine hydrochloride solution
    2. qs to 489ml with distilled water
    3. Adjust to pH 7.4 +/- 0.2
    4. Adjust volume to 1 liter with H2O
    5. Sterilize by filtration
