Caulobacter Agar Recipe

  1. Dissolve the following in 1L of distilled water to make Trace Elements solution:
    • MgSO4 x 7 H2O 0.2 g
    • Yeast extract 1.0 g
    • Bacto peptone 2.0 g
    • Agar 15 g
  2. Dissolve agar by steaming
  3. q.s. to 1L with distilled water
  4. Adjust pH to 7.0
  5. Autoclave to sterilize.
