Halobacterium Agar Recipe
- Dissolve the following in 900ml of distilled water
- 7.5g Casamino acids
- 10g Yeast extract
- 3g Na3-citrate
- 2g KCl
- 20g MgSO4 x 7 H2O
- 50mg FeSO4 x 7 H2O
- 0.2mg MnSO4 x H2O
- 250g NaCl
- Adjust pH to 7.4
- Add 20g Agar
- Bring to 1000ml with distilled water
- Autoclave to sterilize
