Methylamine Salts Agar Recipe

1. Dissolve the following in 900 ml distilled water
   • 1g KH₂PO₄
   • 2.12g K₂HPO₄
   • 6.75g Methylamine HCl
   • 15g agar
   • 5ml Solution A
   • 1ml Solution B
2. Adjust pH to 7.0
3. q.s. to 1L with distilled water
4. Autoclave to sterilize

Solution A

1. Dissolve to following in 95 ml distilled water
   • 2g MgSO₄-7H₂O
   • 0.2g CaCl₂-2H₂O
   • 0.2g FeSO₄-7H₂O
2. q.s. to 100 ml with distilled water

Solution B

1. Dissolve the following in 95 ml distilled water
   • 0.05g MnSO₄-7H₂O
   • 0.05g Na₂MoO₄-2H₂O
2. q.s. to 100 ml with distilled water
