Reagent Recipe
NADI reagent is commonly used as a test for indophenol
oxidase.
Solution # 1
1% alpha-naphthol in 95% ethanol
Solution # 2
1% N,N-dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine HCl in water
Solutions 1 and 2 are mixed in equal volumes just prior
to use. NADI reagent is commonly used as a test for
indophenol oxidase.
