PYS Agar Recipe

  1. Add the following to 900 ml of water
    • 15 g peptone
    • 5 g yeast extract
    • 5 g NaCl
    • 15 g Agar
  2. Adjust pH to 7.2 - 7.4
  3. Autoclave to sterilize
  4. Pour plates when agar solution is sufficently cooled
