5% Sorbitol Agar Recipe

  1. Combine the following in 800ml water:
    • 15g Agar
    • 10g Peptone
    • 10g Yeast extract
    • 50g D-Sorbitol
  2. Adjust pH to 6.0 with HCl
  3. Adjust to 1000ml with distilled water
  4. Autoclave to sterilize.
