1. Combine the following in 900ml water:
   • 0.43g Na₂HPO₄ ×12 H₂O
   • 54mg KH₂PO₄
   • 0.2g MgCl₂ × 6 H₂O
   • 40mg CaSO₄ × 2 H₂O
   • 0.5ml Fe-citrate solution (0.01 M)
   • 1ml Trace elements solution (see below)
   • 0.1g Nitrilotriacetic acid
   • 2.5g Tryptone
   • 2.5g Yeast extract
   • 15g Agar
2. Adjust pH to 7.0 - 7.2
3. Adjust to 1000ml with water
4. Autoclave or filter sterilize.

Trace elements solution:

1. Combine the following in 10 ml distilled water:
   • 45mg CoCl₂ × 6 H₂O
   • 25mg Na₂MoO₄ × 2 H₂O
   • 25mg CuSO₄ × 5 H₂O
   • 0.5g H₃BO₃
   • 0.5g ZnSO₄ × 7 H₂O
   • 2.28g MnSO₄ × H₂O
   • 0.5 ml H₂SO₄
2. Autoclave or filter sterilize.
