Uric Acid Medium Recipe

  1. Combine the following in 800ml water:
    • 0.4g Uric Acid
    • 20mg MnCl2 x 4 H2O
    • 1.2mg CaCl2
    • 0.2g MgSO4 x 7 H2O
    • 1.5g KH2PO4
    • 9g Na2HPO4 x 12 H2O
    • 5g NaCl
    • 5g Glucose
    • 1g Meat extract
    • 1g Yeast extract 1.0 g
  2. Adjust to 1000ml with distilled water
  3. Filter sterilize.
