Yeast Extract Glucose Medium Recipe

1. Dissolve the following in 1L distilled water:
• KJ 0.083 g
• Na₂MoO₄ x 2 H₂O 0.124 g
• H₃BO₃ 0.03 g
• CaCl₂ x 6 H₂O 0.118 g
• ZnSO₄ x 7 H₂O 0.287 g
• MnSO₄ x 4 H₂O 0.223 g
• CuSO₄ x 5 H₂O 0.249 g
2. Dissolve the following in 800ml of distilled water
• Trace element solution* 5.0 ml
• NH₄Cl 0.54 g
• MgSO₄ 0.12 g
• K₂HPO₄ 5.2 g
• KH₂PO₄ 3.18 g
• Glucose 15.0 g
• Yeast extract 0.5 g
3. q.s. to 1L with distilled water
4. Autoclave to sterilize.
